Will it do your work?

The honest answer depends on one property of the work, and it is not your industry.

The test

Mycel suits work that is recurring, written, and shaped by precedent— where the best guide to this month's version is last month's.

Work that fits, whatever the trade:

• A bookkeeper's month-end pack
• An agency's monthly client update or campaign report
• A recruiter's candidate shortlist
• A consultancy's quarterly review
• A studio's launch checklist or maintenance report
• A security questionnaire, an SEO report, a property summary

Work that does not fit, and we would rather say so:

• One-off work with no precedent. The first of anything is the hardest draft and the one you will rewrite most. Mycel earns its keep on the second.
• Work that is mostly a conversation. If the deliverable is a meeting, there is nothing here to draft.
• Work where you cannot check the output. The gate assumes you can tell a good draft from a bad one in a few minutes. If you cannot, do not put your name on it.

“But my work is specific”

It is, and that is the reason for the upload step rather than a template library. Mycel does not have a bookkeeping mode and a recruiting mode with your trade hopefully among them. It reads a document you actually sent and derives the shape from that.

Which means the useful question is not “do you support my industry” but “can I show it one finished example?” If yes, you can find out in an afternoon what any amount of reading here would only guess at.

What it will not do

• Send anything on its own. Deliverables wait for your release, always.
• Invent a number. A draft that cannot ground a figure is held, not filled in. If a check cannot pass, you get the reason rather than a confident sentence.
• Replace your judgement about the client. It knows what you sent last month. It does not know that they are about to fire their FD.
